COMPOSITION

    -  Albendazole..................................................................................400mg.

    -  Excipients..............................................................................sqf 1 tablet.

INDICATIONS

   -  Treatment of Roundworm (Ascaris Iumbricoides), Pinworm (Enterobius

vermicularis), Hookworms (Ancylostoma & Necator), Whipworm (Trichuris trichiura).

   -  Treament of Threadworm (Strongyloides stercoralis), Tapeworm (Taenia sp).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

    -  In the treatment of Roundworm, Pinworm, Hookworms, Whipworm :

      + Adults and children over 2 years: 400mg as a single dose.

      + Children 1 - 2 years: 200mg as a single dose.

    -   In the treatment of Threadworm, Tapeworm:

      + Adults and children over 2 years: 400mg oncedaily, for consecutive 3 days.

      + Children 1 - 2 years: 200mg once daily, for consecutive 3 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

    -  Hypersensitivity to Albendazole.

    -  Pregnant women.

PRECAUTIONS

    The tablets can be chewed or swallowed with water. No special procedures, eg fasting or purging, are required. If the patient is not cured after 3 weeks, a 2nd course of treatment is indicated.
