COMPOSITION

   -  Povidone iodine........................................................................1g.

   -  Excipients: .......................................................................sqf 10g.

INDICATIONS

   -  Antiseptic.

   -  Treatment of minor wounds, superficial  burns and certain skin diseases.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

   -  Open the protective sachet.

   -  Apply the impregnated dressing to the lesion, remove the plastic film.

   -  Cover with a plain gauze sguare or absorbent cotton. Hold in place by bandaging.

   -  Change gauze dressing everyday or every other day.

   -  Povidine gauze forms a water-soluble membrane protecting the wound. This membrane can be easily removed with purified  water.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

   -  Hypersensitivity to iodine.

   -  Newborns (0-1 month).

   -  Second and third trimester of pregnancy and lactating women.

PRECAUTIONS

   -  Do not apply to large areas and avoid prolonged use.

   -  Caution should be exercised when administered to children.
