COMPOSITION

INDICATIONS
- Prevention & treatment of nausea, vomiting, vertigo associated with motion sickness.
- Prevention & treatment of vomiting and vertigo associated with Meniere’s disease and other vestibular disturbances.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Prevention & treatment of nausea, vomiting, vertigo associated with motion sickness.
+ The usual dose of adults and children over 12 years old: 1 - 2 tablets, 3 - 4 times daily, not exceeding 400mg daily.
+ Prevention of motion sickness, the first dose should be given at least 30 minutes before travelling.
+ Children 2 to 6 years old: 1/4 - 1/2 tablet every 6 to 8 hours to a maximum of 75mg daily.
+ Children 6 to 12 years old: 1/2 - 1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours to a maximum of 150mg daily.
- Treatment of Meùnieøre’s disease: 1/2 - 1 tablet, 3 times daily.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate or to other antihistamines.
- Children under 2 years old.
- Closed-angle glaucoma.
- Urinary retention involved to the urethro-prostaticproblems.
PRECAUTIONS
- Avoiding the use of alcoholic drinks or other CNS depressants during treatment of dimenhydrinate.
- Chronic constipation, urinary bladder obstruction,benign prostatic hyperplasia.
- Elderly.
- Drug should not be used during pregnancy only when clearly needed.
- Drug should not be used in breast-feeding woman
