FARZINCOL SP

COMPOSITION

   -  Zinc sulfate monohydrate.....................................................0,55g.

   -  Excipients......................................................................sqf 100ml.

INDICATIONS

      Prevention and treatment of zinc deficiency in cases of malnutrition, acute or chronic diarrhoea.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

   -  Prevention of zinc deficiency:

      5-20ml, daily as needed.

   -  Treatment dosage: as directed by physician.

   + Dosage should be reduced when the clinical symptoms have been improved .

   + Daily dosage should be divided into 2 doses, to be taken after meals.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

      Do not use Farzincol while having active gastro-duodenal ulcer or nausea.

PRECAUTIONS

      To prevent drug interaction, it is recommended to allow a 2 to 3 hour interval between administration of zinc and other drug containing calcium, iron and copper.
